Mixtape Pass is an online music service specializing in underground mixtapes and bringing them to the World Wide Web ("Digital Mixtapes"). We offer mixtape downloads and we also offer a mixtape streaming service that will allow you to listen to mixtapes while surfing the internet.(coming soon).

Mixtapes are primarily sold on compact discs ("CDs") for anywhere between $6 to $12 each. They contain material from many different artists and can feature any or all of the following: A) Exclusives B) Remixes C) Freestyles D) Interviews E) Blends F) Drops & much more. All of the downloads that we currently offer are CD quality!

What Is Mixtape Downloading?
Mixtape Downloading refers to mixtapes you purchase individually that can be A) burned to CD for playback through your home, car or portable CD players, IPOD, or any other MP3 player, Phone with audio playback abilities. and/or B) Stored on a computer's hard drive for your offline pleasure.
What Are the System Requirments?
All Mixtape Downloads are in mp3 format encoded at 192kbps for excellent sound quality, we recommend a third party program called Winamp to play the files (available at www.winamp.com). All Mixtape Downloads are in mp3 format when single tracks are selected, or compressed into ZIP format when full mixtape downloads are selected, we recommend a third party program called WinZip to extract the zip files (available at www.winzip.com). All Mixtape Streams are in Windows Media format encoded at 56kbps for quick streaming, you will need a program called Windows Media Player to stream these files, this program is included in most all installs of the Windows operating system.
How Do I Navigate Your Website?
We have made navigating our site very simple and easy to find exactly what you are looking for. The main left navigation lists the most popular mixtape dj's along with popular mixtape series and a list of all mixtape dj's. In addition there are links to the most downloaded mixtapes on our site and the top rated mixtapes currently available. When a dj is selected all mixtapes available for the selected dj will be displayed in the center of the site. The latest additions and current most downloaded mixtapes will be on the right hand side navigation.
Why Do DJ's Release Other People's Music?
Artists will often give DJs access to exclusive material and in return, all the artist is looking for is promotion. The DJs use the material to broaden his portfolio and develop there skill on the turntables while spinning at party's, club's, etc. The artist benefits by developing a stronger fan base and usually builds a buzz for an upcoming album release or some kind of event. Last but not least, we (the listeners) benefit by hearing the latest exclusives, freestyles, interviews, remixes, etc. that have not been released yet! A lot of artist release tracks on mixtapes that you will never hear anywhere else except on that tape!

How Much Do The Mixtape Downloads Cost & Why?
Each mixtape download is currently 5 tokens, (token value may vary) this cost covers the average bandwidth usage that you consume from our servers each time you download a mixtape. The average mixtape download files size is approximately 80-100 megabytes.
Do I Need A Membership To Download?
No, simply create a FREE account and fund your account with membership tokens. Once you login click on buy tokens from your member status screen to fund your account and begin downloading instantly!!
When Do I Get To Download The Mixtape?
Instantly, Once you have funded your account with tokens, these tokens will be available immediately and may be used to download any of the mixtapes/tracks on our site.(If e-check was used as payment tokens will not be applied to your account until funds have been cleared by Paypal!.)
Why Am I Getting An Error When I Try To Download?
If you have any problems with downloading any track or mixtape, contact us immediately with the mixtape name & sku or the track # along with mixtape name & sku and we will fix the problem.
You Have Been Banned From Mixtape Pass! This error message occurs for one of the following reasons.
If you feel that you have been banned in error feel free to contact us.
Fraud Investigation By PayPal - If your account is currently under investigation for fraud you will be banned until everything has been cleared.
Why Did I Receive A Corrupt File?
If you receive the following error message saying "Corrupt File" when trying to open the .zip file, It could mean 1 of 2 things. A) there was a problem with your connection while downloading (usually with dial up modems) the mixtape or B) There is an error on our download server that needs to be fixed. Try downloading the file again, if it does not work contact us to fix this problem.
Can I Transfer Downloads To Portable Device?
Yes, as long as you portable device is compatible with mp3 files you should be able to transfer. All files ARE compatible with all IPOD devices.
What Do I Do If My Computer Crashes?
We do not re-send mixtapes due to computer crashes or if you accidently deleted the files. Unless you have backed-up all the mixtape downloads there is no way to recover them. You would need to re-order the mixtape.
I Forgot My Password, What Do I Do?
Simply use our password recovery page, your password will be emailed to the email that was used to setup your account.
Can I Request A Mixtape In Your Catalog?
Absolutely, If we have a mixtape in our catalog that you want to download/hear, just let us know and we'll try our best to get that mixtape added for you.
